Authorities in Telangana have uncovered a scandal involving the leakage of the Standard 10 (SSC) Telugu board exam question paper, leading to the arrest of five individuals and the apprehension of a minor. According to Nalgonda's Deputy Superintendent of Police K Shivram Reddy, those detained include a private school teacher and a photocopy center owner.
The breach occurred on March 21 when a minor scaled the wall of a state-run girls residential school in Nakrekal town, photographing the question paper through a window. The paper was then spread via social media, with a private teacher allegedly preparing answers and sharing them with others. The intention was to distribute answer slips to students to improve their grades illicitly.
All five arrested have been placed in judicial custody as the investigation persists. Authorities noted that charges were filed under the BNS and Telangana State Public Examinations Act-1997. Exams across the state commenced on March 21.
