CBSE Offers Second Chance for Holi-Affected Hindi Exam Students
CBSE announced that Class 12 students who miss the Hindi exam on March 15 due to Holi celebrations will be allowed to retake the test. Despite the exam's original schedule, affected students can appear later alongside those taking a special examination for national or international sports events.

In response to the overlap of Holi celebrations and the Hindi exam scheduled for March 15, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an alternative solution for affected students. Class 12 students unable to attend the exam due to local Holi festivities will be granted another opportunity to write the paper at a later date.
The CBSE Examination Controller, Sanyam Bhardwaj, explained that while Holi will predominantly be observed on March 14 across India, some regions might celebrate on March 15 or have festivities extend into that date. Therefore, students finding it challenging to attend the exam will be accommodated.
These students will have the chance to sit for the exam alongside students attending a special examination. This special exam typically applies to students participating in national or international sports events, providing a fair solution for those affected by scheduling conflicts due to the festival.
