In a pivotal move towards educational advancement, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi inaugurated a state-of-the-art government school in Kirari on Monday. The new facility, designed to accommodate approximately 4,000 students across two shifts, features 68 classrooms equipped with modern laboratories and a lift.
During the inauguration, Atishi highlighted the region's metamorphosis from lacking basic facilities to becoming a hub of educational excellence. Once plagued by infrastructure issues, Kirari's residents persistently fought legal battles to secure land from the Delhi Development Authority, culminating in the school's establishment.
The chief minister emphasized the community's drive for a better future, particularly for children of Purvanchal migrants. Atishi's remarks also echoed former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's commitment to making quality education accessible, underscoring the school as a testament to this vision.
