The Delhi government has once again demonstrated its commitment to education reform with the inauguration of a new academic block at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Jhilmil Colony. The newly established structure comprises 46 rooms, including 25 classrooms and six state-of-the-art laboratories, highlighting the city's dedication to modernizing education. These advanced facilities are designed to give students a more comprehensive educational experience, allowing them to explore subjects like biology in greater depth.

This expansion doesn't just stop at improved infrastructure. It also includes the introduction of Commerce, Arts, and Science streams, previously available only at boys' schools. The development improves accessibility to quality education for more than 2,600 students from Jhilmil Colony and neighboring areas, with modern amenities ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all.
