Empowering Education: Delhi University's Tech Drive for Students
Delhi University is set to distribute laptops and tablets to orphaned, single-parent female students, and visually impaired students on January 4. The initiative is part of the 'Sashakt Beti' and 'e-Drishti' programmes, aimed at fostering digital inclusivity. The event, attended by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, will also unveil a donated ambulance and a new book.

Delhi University plans to empower underprivileged students by distributing laptops and tablets to orphaned female and single-parent students, as well as visually impaired individuals, at the 'Samarpan Samaroh' event on January 4.
The initiative falls under the 'Sashakt Beti' and 'e-Drishti' programmes, striving to promote digital inclusivity and academic excellence. Female students eligible for the scheme include those from families earning less than Rs 4 lakh per annum.
The event will further highlight the unveiling of a state-of-the-art university ambulance, courtesy of LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation, and introduce the 'Commemorative Volume of Donor's Chronicle, 2024'.
