The National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) has announced an invitation for Expressions of Interest from potential training partners. These partners will conduct mid-career training programs for customs and indirect tax officers, according to a statement from the finance ministry on Thursday.
The initiative, which is part of NACIN's commitment to capacity building in the indirect taxation sector, aims to select suitable Training Partner(s) or Partner Institute(s) through an open tender process. The selected partners will be responsible for organizing and delivering phases three, four, and five of the Mid-Career Training Programme (MCTP) for IRS (C&IT) officers.
Interested parties have until December 16 to submit their bids, a deadline that NACIN has set to ensure timely processing and selection. This program underscores the academy's role as the apex institute for government-led capacity building initiatives in indirect taxes and related fields.
