The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Thursday announced the postponement of the Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer exams. In contrast, it confirmed that the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) preliminary exam will occur on a single day.
Aspirants protested outside the UPPSC office, advocating for exams to be held in a single shift. Their frustration was evident, as no official notice was posted on the Commission's website, escalating tensions among the candidates preparing for these exams.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak assured voters of decisions made with student welfare in mind. Political figures, like Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, critiqued the government for its divisive approach. The development has added further complexity to the exam scheduling crisis.
