The 'One Day, One Exam' movement gained momentum as students rallied for the third consecutive day against the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission's decision to split exams over two days.
Scheduled for December 7 and 8, and December 22 and 23, these exams now symbolize a larger fight for fairness, according to the students. Their catchphrase, prominently displayed on placards, is a call for solidarity and justice.
UPPSC Secretary Ashok Kumar addressed the situation, citing prior student requests to avoid private examination centers due to past leaks. However, he explained that logistical constraints necessitate the expanded schedule, with available centers supporting only 4,35,000 of the 5,76,000 registered candidates.
