Student Cheated in Physiotherapy Course Scam
A 19-year-old student in Thane alleged that a physiotherapy institute, along with a finance company, cheated her of Rs 88,000. The institution took a Rs 4 lakh loan in her name without consent and shifted her course to another organization, leading her to report the scam to the police.

In a concerning incident, Thane city police have filed a case against seven individuals, an educational institute, and a finance company. The parties allegedly conned a 19-year-old student out of Rs 88,000. Authorities revealed this information on Thursday.
The student, who had enrolled in a physiotherapy course, was shocked to discover that the institute had taken a Rs 4 lakh loan in her name unbeknownst to her. Subsequently, the institute conducted her course through another organization in Sikkim and collected Rs 88,000 as fees.
On realizing the deceit, the student approached Naupada police station on Wednesday, leading to the registration of a fraud case. Investigations are ongoing to bring the culprits to justice.
