An all-women committee consisting of four members has been formed in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, to probe allegations that a school staffer inappropriately touched a 3-year-old girl student, as confirmed by an official on Friday. The committee will be led by the sub-division magistrate (SDM) and has been directed to submit its findings promptly, the source added.

Parents of the affected child created a stir at the educational institution on Thursday, accusing the staff member of molestation. A video of the incident, showing a school official addressing the agitated parents and questioning the accused, went viral on social media.

The police have since interrogated the school employee concerned, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vinod Kumar Meena said. He further mentioned that while the parents have been spoken to, they are yet to file an official complaint. The authorities assured the family of complete support.
