UOW Pioneers Post-Graduate Courses at GIFT City

The University of Wollongong (UOW) will commence post-graduate courses at GIFT City, Gujarat, starting November. Courses include Master of Computing (Data Analytics) and Master of Financial Technology, each with 50 students. UOW introduced inaugural scholarships and partnered with IBM for enhanced educational resources.

The University of Wollongong (UOW) announced on Tuesday that it will become one of the first Australian universities to offer post-graduate courses at GIFT City in Gujarat starting November.

The courses, with an intake of 50 students each, will cover Master of Computing (Data Analytics), Graduate Certificate in Computing, Master of Financial Technology, extended Master of Financial Technology, and Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology, said UOW's Executive Director of Global Student Recruitment, Kath McCollim.

The university has introduced an 'inaugural scholarship' to provide financial benefits for those enrolling in the programs. In addition, UOW India has partnered with IBM, giving students access to IBM's Innovation Centre for Education (ICE). GIFT City, located in the Gandhinagar district, is an emerging business district undergoing development.
