The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) officially announced its election committee for the impending Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) polls on Sunday, according to an official statement.

The newly formed committee will oversee election-related decisions, including the selection of candidates.

ABVP Delhi president Tapan Bihari has been named chairman of the DUSU election committee. With this formation, discussions about potential candidates have begun.

Bihari stated, 'The election committee has commenced deliberations on candidate names for the DUSU elections. Like in previous years, this year's 'DUSU in Campus' campaign has garnered a positive response from students.' Over the years, ABVP has consistently represented students and supported their concerns, he added.

Additionally, ABVP Delhi secretary Harsh Attri noted that ABVP units across the university are actively engaging with students, sharing the work of the outgoing ABVP-led DUSU, and collecting feedback and suggestions for the upcoming manifesto.
