Anurag Dalal Wins Presidency in PUCSC Elections Amid Tight Security

In a tightly contested and secured election, independent candidate Anurag Dalal emerged victorious as the president of the Panjab University Campus Students' Council (PUCSC) on Thursday.

The polling process, which began at 9:30 am and concluded at 11 am, saw 23 candidates vying for various positions. The election results were announced in the evening after the ballot counting was completed.

Dalal secured 3,433 votes, defeating Prince Chaudhary of the Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) by a margin of 303 votes. Other significant victories included NSUI's Archit Garg for vice president, INSO's Vineet Yadav for secretary, and ABVP's Jasvinder Rana for joint secretary.
