Tragic Incident at IIT-Bhubaneswar: B.Tech Student Dies After Falling from Administrative Building

A 23-year-old student from IIT-Bhubaneswar tragically died after reportedly falling from the fifth floor of the institute's administrative building, police informed on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Kritika Raj, was a third-year B.Tech student from Delhi. Her body was discovered on Tuesday night within the campus premises. Authorities are considering the possibility of suicide.
The institute released a statement confirming the incident and noted that it happened around 11 pm, adding that the police were alerted immediately. The body has been sent to Khurda district headquarters hospital for a postmortem examination.
