Delhi Education Minister Atishi inaugurated two new academic blocks at a government school in northeast Delhi's Old Seemapuri area on Tuesday.

The newly-constructed four-storey buildings at Vishwamitra Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya boast state-of-the-art facilities, including 76 classrooms, six laboratories, two libraries, and an elevator.

Atishi emphasized the superior quality of the new infrastructure, urging parents to visit and see the facilities for themselves. She announced the addition of the science stream for girls, enabling them to pursue careers in fields such as medicine, engineering, and science.

Addressing the densely-populated area's needs, Atishi noted that class sizes would be reduced from 60 to 40 students. She celebrated the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government's commitment to world-class education, recalling the poor state of government schools before 2015.

Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel commended the education revolution led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, highlighting its global recognition and 100% board exam pass rates contributing to national progress.
