NxtWave Disruptive Technologies and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) have officially launched an ambitious initiative named 'SkillUp India 4.0' aimed at training over 25 lakh students in next-generation technologies such as machine learning, data science, and generative AI. The program will facilitate career opportunities by linking students with over 1,000 companies.

Rahul Attuluri, CEO of NxtWave Disruptive Technologies, announced the initiative, stating that within the next year, they will reach 30 lakh students from 3,000 degree and engineering colleges across the country. Activities will include workshops, boot camps, hackathons, and domain-specific challenges focusing on emerging technologies like autonomous vehicles and mixed reality.

Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC, emphasized that the initiative aligns with Prime Minister's vision of 'Viksit Bharat,' aiming to empower young Indians with essential skills. Tiwari highlighted that with 45% of global capacity centers already based in India, the nation is positioned to become the global hub for skill development and innovation.
