An unsettling case has emerged from Narmadapuram district in Madhya Pradesh where a Class 8 student reported being sexually assaulted by five senior students over a span of almost two years.

The victim, who joined the government-run boarding school in July 2022, finally found courage to report the incidents to his family. The family lodged a police complaint after receiving no action from the school principal.
