Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday demanded an enquiry following the outcry over allegations of hidden cameras in a girl's washroom at Gudlavalleru Engineering College in Krishna district.
Protests erupted, with hundreds of students demanding justice and accountability. State officials, including the Mines Minister, district collector, and superintendent of police, were ordered to visit the campus.
Police investigations revealed no evidence of hidden cameras despite thorough searches. Nonetheless, confidence-building measures are being enforced, and further probes are underway to ensure campus safety.
