The American Consulate General in Mumbai has underscored immense potential for strengthening bilateral cooperation between universities in the United States and Madhya Pradesh. Key areas identified for collaboration include climate change, logistics, and renewable energy.
According to spokesperson Greg Pardo, joint research and student exchange programs could be instrumental in cementing these ties. Additionally, local industries and their staff could benefit from these collaborative efforts.
Last year, a weather monitoring center was established at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University in Bhopal, thanks to a partnership with the US Consulate General in Mumbai and Bronx Community College of the City University of New York. There are hopes to expand such projects to Indore and other cities in Madhya Pradesh.
