TMC Rajya Sabha member Sagarika Ghose has formally addressed Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, raising concerns over the insufficient information available on the National Testing Agency (NTA) website.
To win public trust for future tests, the NTA must disclose more details about itself on its website. Ghose's queries, initially submitted as a parliamentary question, were not addressed and prompted her to write to the minister directly.
Ghose emphasized the need for transparency, suggesting that the NTA's board members, officials, and annual reports should be openly accessible. She expressed hope that such measures would enhance the agency's trustworthiness and prevent the need for legal redress by students.
