IIM Udaipur Inaugurates Cutting-Edge Behavioural Lab in Jaipur
The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) has launched a Behavioural Lab in Jaipur, equipped with advanced technologies like EEG and Eye Tracking. Inaugurated by Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, the lab aims to advance research in human cognition, benefiting academia, policy development, and industry applications.

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) has proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art Behavioural Lab in Jaipur, a project funded in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan's IT&C Department. The ceremony took place on July 30, 2024, and was officiated by Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of Information Technology and Communications, Government of Rajasthan.
Equipped with advanced technologies such as Electroencephalography (EEG), Eye Tracking, and Galvanic Skin Response (GSR), the Behavioural Lab will be an essential hub for comprehensive behavioural studies. Researchers can now delve deeper into human cognition, emotion, and behaviour, aiding academic research, policy evaluation, and market analytics.
Prof. Ashok Banerjee, Director of IIM Udaipur, highlighted the initiative's significance, noting that it underscores their commitment to pioneering research. The lab is expected to be a cornerstone for researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals, driving innovation across various sectors.
