The Madhya Pradesh Madrasa Board has withdrawn the recognition of 56 madrasas in Sheopur district after a report confirmed they were non-operational, an official stated Wednesday.
This decision follows a submission by the District Education Officer (DEO). Out of the affected madrasas, 54 were beneficiaries of state government grants.
State School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh mandated physical inspections by field staff across other districts to verify madrasas' operations and adherence to state rules. Further action includes rapid verification of private educational institutions.
