Pankaj Kumar, the alleged 'mastermind' behind the NEET paper leak, colluded with key officials at Oasis School in Hazaribagh to gain unauthorized access to the exam papers on May 5, the CBI revealed on Thursday.
The agency's investigation disclosed that Kumar worked alongside the school's principal, Ehsanul Haque, and vice principal, Imtiaz Alam, to open trunks containing the NEET UG 2024 question papers. Arrests have been made, including seven MBBS students who solved the leaked papers.
The Supreme Court has dismissed petitions seeking the cancellation of NEET-UG 2024, despite evidence confirming the paper leak. The CBI's ongoing investigation has led to 36 arrests so far, with further action expected as more accused are identified.
