A divyang researcher reported that he was turned away when he attempted to submit his English research thesis on Friday, despite instructions from the Deputy Registrar. Another researcher echoed similar sentiments after his thesis progress report submission was refused on July 1.
The university Senate member, Ashok Mothe, emphasized the urgent need for a resolution to mitigate the inconvenience for students traveling from distant locations. Vice-chancellor Dr. Manohar Chaskar has assured that the matter will be resolved soon and announced plans to reappoint a recently retired employee to the department.
