Mystery Projectile Hits Tanker Near Oman

A tanker was hit by an unidentified projectile near the coast of Oman, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations. The incident occurred without causing harm to the crew or the environment, allowing the ship to proceed to its next destination.

An unidentified projectile struck a tanker in its port bow off the coast of Oman, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported on Saturday.

The UKMTO detailed that the incident occurred on Friday, precisely 6 nautical miles east of Oman. Fortunately, all crew members remained unharmed, and there was no environmental impact reported.

Despite the incident, the tanker continued its journey to its subsequent port of call, ensuring the smooth continuation of its scheduled operations.
