A coalition of U.S. states is preparing a lawsuit to halt the acquisition of Warner Bros by Paramount Skydance, according to sources acquainted with the situation who spoke to Reuters on Friday.
The exact states involved in the legal maneuver remain undisclosed, but California's Attorney General Rob Bonta revealed in an interview with Reuters on Thursday that his office is on the verge of deciding whether to proceed with the lawsuit.
