In a significant push towards sustainable transport, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu urged officials to promote electric vehicles across the state. On Monday, during a video conference with Electric Vehicle companies' representatives, Naidu emphasized the need for a movement aimed at fuel conservation by adopting EVs.

To kickstart this initiative, the Chief Minister announced plans to provide 16,000 electric bicycles to SwarnaGrama and SwarnaWard workers. These efforts form part of a broader strategy to transition towards electric mobility as a mainstream mode of transportation.
