Accelerating Green Mobility: Royal Enfield's Ambitious Tirupati Expansion
Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu confirmed the initiation of Royal Enfield's motorcycle manufacturing project worth Rs 2,500 crore in Tirupati. Expected to produce nine lakh motorcycles annually, the project promises approximately 15,000 jobs. Emphasizing green energy, Naidu pledged swift project execution and robust support for sustainable mobility infrastructure.
In a pivotal development for Andhra Pradesh's industrial landscape, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced the establishment of Royal Enfield's comprehensive motorcycle manufacturing project in Tirupati. The ambitious initiative, valued at Rs 2,500 crore, aims to roll out nine lakh motorcycles annually.
This move is projected to generate around 15,000 employment opportunities, significantly boosting local economic activity and industrial advancement. Following discussions with Royal Enfield's chief executive B Govindarajan, Naidu expressed optimism about the project's potential, particularly Royal Enfield's foray into electric vehicles.
Naidu assured unwavering support, pledging expedited procedures to complete the project within 18 months, surpassing initial timelines. The project, including high-tech facilities and a robust vendor ecosystem, aligns with Andhra Pradesh's commitment to promoting sustainable mobility and energy transition through renewable energy initiatives.
