Afcons Infrastructure Ltd Reports Financial Dip Amidst Revenue Decline
Afcons Infrastructure Ltd reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 88.40 crore for Q1 2026, transitioning from a profit in the prior year. Revenue from operations also decreased to Rs 2,613.84 crore. The year's net profit fell by 48.3%. The board suggested a Rs 2 dividend per share.
Afcons Infrastructure Ltd has announced a consolidated net loss of Rs 88.40 crore for the first quarter of 2026, marking a significant shift from a net profit of Rs 110.92 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The company's consolidated revenue from operations also saw a decrease, falling to Rs 2,613.84 crore during the January-March quarter, a drop from Rs 3,223.27 crore a year earlier. For the full fiscal year 2025-26, the construction firm's net profit plummeted by 48.3% to Rs 251.50 crore compared to the Rs 486.81 crore reported for the year ending March 31, 2025.
Reflecting on the annual performance, the board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per share, pending approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Afcons Infrastructure Ltd continues to serve as the flagship infrastructure engineering and construction company of the Shapoorji Pallonji Group.
