On Monday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay met with key industrial delegations, including representatives from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI), at the Secretariat. The discussions primarily centered on accelerating industrial growth and investment.

Vijay expressed his appreciation for FICCI's role in developing Tamil Nadu's industrial sector and listened closely to their recommendations. He assured the delegation that appropriate measures would be taken, urging continued collaboration to position Tamil Nadu as an economic leader in India.

In separate discussions with MCCI, emphasis was placed on simplifying business processes. Vijay acknowledged MCCI's role as a crucial liaison with the government, ensuring investor-friendly policies.
