Tragic Road Accident Claims Family's Lives in Uttar Pradesh
A tragic road accident in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh, claimed the lives of Somveer, his wife Amita, and their 2-year-old son Shiva on Sunday. Their motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck. The driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle, which has since been seized by police.

A tragic road accident occurred on Sunday evening in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj district, resulting in the death of a family of three. The victims were identified as Somveer (35), his wife Amita (30), and their 2-year-old son Shiva. They were traveling on a motorcycle when it was struck by a speeding truck on the Kaderganj Ganga Ghat bridge.
The family was returning to Rampur village after attending a wedding in Budaun district. Somveer, who worked as an auto-rickshaw driver in Delhi, was on a visit to his native village with his family when the accident occurred. All three died on the spot, according to Sikandapur Vaish SHO Chanchal Sirohi.
Following the incident, the truck driver abandoned the vehicle and fled. The police have seized the truck and are actively searching for the driver. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for a post-mortem examination as investigations continue.
