Shares of Reliance Industries declined sharply on Friday, experiencing a dip of over 1% in anticipation of the company's March quarter earnings release.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Reliance's stock price fell by 0.90% to reach Rs 1,331.05. Meanwhile, at the National Stock Exchange (NSE), shares saw a drop of 1.16%, concluding at Rs 1,327.80.
Overall market sentiment was also affected, with the BSE Sensex falling by 999.79 points and the NSE Nifty sliding by 275.10 points, illustrating broader market reactions ahead of the earnings announcement scheduled for April 24, 2026.
