Tragic Collision on Hoshiarpur-Chandigarh Road: One Dead, 12 Injured

A significant crash on the Hoshiarpur-Chandigarh road resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to 12 others. The incident involved a head-on collision between a Punjab Roadways bus and a commercial vehicle near Baddhoan village bridge.
The deceased, identified as Khark Chand, hailed from Chak Phullu village. The commercial vehicle carried a dozen passengers from the same family, returning from a religious ceremony when the accident occurred.
Authorities reported severe damage to the commercial vehicle from the crash impact. All injured passengers are receiving treatment at the Community Health Centre in Mahilpur. Local officials, including MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar Chabbewal, have pledged their support and ongoing investigations are underway.
