Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) reported a widened net loss of Rs 137.3 crore for the December quarter of fiscal year 2026, attributed mainly to the impact of new Labour Codes.
Revenue from operations increased to Rs 2,373.66 crore, but the surge in expenses to Rs 2,546.91 crore, including an exceptional outgo of Rs 28.48 crore, affected profitability.
The company indicated that softer demand and lower consumer footfalls tempered growth, especially in the masstige and value segments, despite the healthy performance of new business ventures.
