In a strategic move to bolster Punjab's global investment profile, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will travel to Japan and South Korea for a 10-day mission in December. Accompanied by Industries Minister Sanjeev Arora and key officials, Mann aims to draw significant foreign investments ahead of the March 2026 Progressive Punjab Investors' Summit.
The high-ranking delegation is set to visit Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul, engaging with international corporations to highlight Punjab's industrial strengths. The mission has been organized with the support of Indian embassies and government agencies, reflecting a robust collaborative effort to position Punjab as a premier investment destination in North India.
During this tour, the government plans to showcase its strategic location, favorable industrial policies, and infrastructure improvements. This includes promoting initiatives like the FastTrack Punjab single-window system and advancements in manufacturing clusters. Mann envisions Punjab as a stable, investor-friendly state and is committed to partnerships with global industries to ensure shared growth.
