Union Minister Pralhad Joshi led a critical review meeting on Friday, focusing on current and proposed railway projects in Karnataka. The meeting, held with Mukul Saran Mathur, General Manager of South Western Railway, took place in Hubballi.
The review highlighted progress on pivotal projects such as the Hubballi–Ankola line, the Tumkur–Chitradurga line, and the Dharwad–Belgaum line. Other notable discussions included the Bagalkot–Kudachi line and the Gadag–Wadi line, along with ongoing construction of Road Over and Under Bridges.
Joshi emphasized the urgency of these developmental works, pledging government support to clear any hurdles. Detailed Project Reports, like the one for the Gadag–Yalvigi line, are in progress, with significant redevelopment planned for the Hubballi station.
