Arunachal Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein emphasized the urgency of implementing the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) Act 2021. At a high-level review meeting, he instructed departments to digitize services and establish EoDB rules to streamline business processes.
The meeting, aimed at improving the state's business climate, stressed timely service delivery and necessary actions under Citizen Services Delivery Acts. Departments were urged to adopt a proactive approach to remove procedural hurdles and foster a business-friendly environment, according to an official statement.
Key outcomes included integrating departmental services into the EoDB portal, implementing a Reduction of Compliance Burden framework, and developing a comprehensive investment policy. Arunachal Pradesh's notable progress in digital governance was also highlighted, including its integration with the national single window system, enhancing transparency and revenue generation.
