Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called on district collectors to prioritize tourism projects. Speaking at the district collectors' conference, Naidu identified tourism as a sector that requires minimal investment while offering substantial returns in employment and economic growth.
Naidu noted that by capitalizing on local attractions, tourism can become a significant source of jobs and economic boost. The Chief Minister pointed out the vast untapped tourism potential within the state, stretching from Rayalaseema to North Andhra regions.
He stressed the importance of infrastructure development, such as ensuring at least three hotels in every district headquarters, to support and enhance the tourism sector in Andhra Pradesh.
