The report by WorkIndia highlighted a 17% overall job growth in the sales industry year-on-year. While telecalling and business development roles surged, traditional sales roles witnessed a slight decline. In particular, telecalling recorded a 22% year-on-year increase in job postings, and business development roles surged by 80%.
As the industry undergoes transformation, areas like Bengaluru and Mumbai lead the hiring boom, showing strong demand for skilled professionals.
