The Indian hospitality sector experienced remarkable growth in the last quarter of 2024, particularly in key urban markets. Real estate consultancy JLL India reported that 38 branded hotels, totaling 3,293 rooms, were launched during the October-December period.

A notable development was the signing of 99 branded hotels with a total of 11,943 rooms. Hyderabad emerged as the standout market, boasting the highest Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) growth at an impressive 23.3%.

This trend underlines sustained investor confidence in India's hospitality industry, marked by a strong shift towards Tier II and III cities, which contributed to 75% of the new hotel signings.
