Tragedy on the Tracks: Fatal Train Accident in Himachal Pradesh

A tragic incident in Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur district resulted in the death of a 63-year-old man, Rajendra Singh, who was struck by a freight train. The accident occurred at the Sijnauda railway crossing, leading to his death at the local health center. Police have informed the family.

A 63-year-old man tragically lost his life after being struck by a freight train in Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur district on Monday. The man, identified as Rajendra Singh, was crossing the tracks at Sijnauda railway crossing in the Maudaha area when the accident occurred, police reported.

After the incident, Singh was promptly taken to the Maudaha Community Health Center by a police team. Unfortunately, upon arrival, doctors declared him dead.

Umesh Kumar Singh, in-charge of Maudaha police station, confirmed that Rajendra's family has been notified, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem following the completion of necessary formalities. The community mourns the loss of Singh in such a tragic manner.
