Tragedy on the Tracks: Fatal Train Accident in Himachal Pradesh

A 63-year-old man tragically lost his life after being struck by a freight train in Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur district on Monday. The man, identified as Rajendra Singh, was crossing the tracks at Sijnauda railway crossing in the Maudaha area when the accident occurred, police reported.
After the incident, Singh was promptly taken to the Maudaha Community Health Center by a police team. Unfortunately, upon arrival, doctors declared him dead.
Umesh Kumar Singh, in-charge of Maudaha police station, confirmed that Rajendra's family has been notified, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem following the completion of necessary formalities. The community mourns the loss of Singh in such a tragic manner.
