Established in Pune in 1990, Umed Pariwar has remained steadfast in its mission to rehabilitate individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), positively impacting their lives for over 33 years.

Through state-level conferences and unique drawing, dance, and drama competitions, Umed Pariwar creates platforms for IDD individuals to celebrate their talents and foster community integration. The organization's initiatives serve to build a robust support system and cultivate societal sensitivity toward the differently abled.

Rajendra Nahar, trustee of Umed Pariwar, underscores the urgent need for permanent care facilities. In response, Umed Pariwar established a hostel-cum-vocational center in 2015, culminating in the 'Arvind Saurabh' facility. This 10-acre campus offers a sustainable, comprehensive environment for lifelong care, made possible through generous donations and CSR support.

With a mission to offer secure and fulfilling environments, Umed Pariwar continues to thrive on the contributions of donors and supporters, steadfast in their commitment to individuals with IDD.
