Yudo India, a subsidiary of the South Korea-based Yudo Group, announced its expansion plans in Maharashtra to tap into India's burgeoning injection moulding sector.
With an impressive 18-20 percent year-on-year growth record, the company is focusing on reducing import reliance by enhancing local production.
The strategic plan includes setting up a new hot runner system manufacturing facility in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and enlarging its warehousing capabilities. In the second phase, efforts will center on bolstering production capacity and localizing key components, amid expectations that India's plastics industry will hit USD 100 billion by 2027.
