Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday highlighted the remarkable economic strides made by Uttar Pradesh under eight years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) rule. Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, he cited reductions in unemployment rates and impressive growth in per capita income as key indicators of the state's economic turnaround.

Adityanath emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has transitioned from a deficit economy to a revenue-surplus state without imposing new taxes. The state's banking sector and infrastructure have experienced significant expansion, with expressway development and improved metro operations. Plans to establish State Development Regions around major cities were also unveiled.

The Chief Minister also stressed his commitment to achieving a USD 1 trillion economy for Uttar Pradesh, supported by advances in healthcare, energy, and poverty alleviation. The state has emerged as a secure investment destination with a focus on enhancing direct benefit transfers to residents. Adityanath concluded by extending his gratitude to key national leaders and the people of the state for their support.
