Tragic School Bus Accident in Poonch Leaves Children Injured
A school bus ferrying students to a private school in Poonch overturned, injuring over a dozen children, three critically. The accident occurred near Bajna village. A tragic accident occurred in Poonch on Monday morning when a school bus transporting students from remote villages to a private school overturned. More than a dozen children were injured in the incident, with three reported to be in critical condition.
According to Rajesh Pal, the Station House Officer of Poonch Police Station, the accident happened on Bajna Road as the driver lost control of the bus near Bajna village. The vehicle, carrying over two dozen students, ended up overturned on the roadside.
Emergency services responded promptly, rushing about 14 injured children to a nearby Primary Health Centre. Five of these children, suffering from more serious injuries, were later referred to a medical college for advanced treatment. The children, aged between 10 and 15, are currently receiving medical attention.
