Sri Lanka remains open to investment opportunities from India's Adani Group, according to the nation's cabinet spokesperson. This comes amid allegations involving Adani executives, who are accused by U.S. prosecutors of engaging in a $265 million bribery scheme to secure solar power contracts in India.

Despite the allegations, both Gautam Adani, chairman of the group, and other executives have vehemently denied any misconduct. Sri Lankan authorities, on the other hand, clarified that they remain 'unconcerned' with the group's dealings in other jurisdictions.

The island nation is steadfast on renegotiating power purchase agreements for proposed wind power projects from which Adani had withdrawn, signaling a strategic emphasis on securing favorable energy costs.
