Cargill Expands with New Corn Milling Plant in Madhya Pradesh
Cargill has launched a new corn milling plant in Gwalior, India, collaborating with Saatvik Agro Processors. This facility will produce starch derivatives catering mainly to domestic demand, with plans for potential exports. The plant adheres to Cargill's global safety and quality standards.

Cargill has taken a significant step in its expansion plans with the inauguration of a new corn milling plant in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Partnering with Saatvik Agro Processors, this development is expected to meet the increasing domestic demand for starch derivatives.
The facility boasts an initial production capacity of 500 tonnes per day, with provisions to expand to 1,000 tonnes per day. It combines Cargill's global capabilities and customer network with the local expertise of Saatvik Agro, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality solutions for India's food manufacturers.
Despite its primary focus on the domestic market, Cargill is contemplating export opportunities from this plant. The facility was inaugurated by Cargill executives John Fering and Simon George, emphasizing its strategic importance in enhancing Cargill's presence in the Indian market.
