Modi highlighted the division's potential to strengthen connectivity in Odisha's southern region, a hub for the state's tribal population, and emphasized its role in boosting tourism, trade, and employment. With ongoing railway projects totaling over Rs 70,000 crore, the region's rail network is transitioning towards greater socio-economic development.
