The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has announced a significant partnership with Stride Ventures to boost the growth of startups with high growth potential. This initiative aims at providing crucial funding, strategic mentorship, and enhanced market access to budding entrepreneurs.

Joint Secretary Sanjiv from DPIIT emphasized the macroeconomic benefits expected from this collaboration, noting that Stride Ventures will develop dedicated programs and initiatives like the Bharat Grand Challenge to foster innovation and investment. The focus is on promoting entrepreneurship and supporting the scaling journeys of startups from tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

Stride Ventures, led by Founder Ishpreet Singh Gandhi, has committed a billion-dollar fund to this cause, underscoring their dedication to strengthening India's startup ecosystem. Additionally, this venture will educate startups about diverse fundraising options, including venture debt, to help them achieve their aspirations.
