13 States Shine as 'Achievers' in Logistics Index 2024

Thirteen states and Union Territories, including Gujarat, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, have been named 'achievers' in the logistics index 2024, according to a report by the Commerce and Industry Ministry released this Friday.

This logistic index serves as a crucial indicator of the efficiency of logistical services necessary for boosting exports and economic growth. Joining the 'achievers' category this year is a group similar in number to last year, comprising states such as Chandigarh and Haryana.

The report assesses the performance based on four key pillars, including the newly added Sustainable Logistics criterion, empowering governments with insights for improved decision-making and growth.
